Mark Window Cleaner is an independent, owner-operated business based in Ashford, Kent.
All services are carried out personally by Mark.

Service Type
Services are provided on a regular cycle of 4, 6, 8 or 12 weeks.
This is a scheduled maintenance service, not a one-off clean unless agreed in writing.
A minimum of three consecutive cleans is required when starting the service.

Cleaning Method
All work is carried out from ground level using a purified water fed pole system.
Ladders are not used as part of the standard service.
Frames and sills are cleaned as part of each visit.
Upper sills are cleaned using purified water but are not manually detailed at close range. Minor marks may remain where direct access is not possible.
Cleaning may be carried out in light or moderate rain. Services are postponed only in severe weather conditions.

Pricing
Prices are calculated using the online estimator based on the information provided by the customer.
If incorrect or incomplete information is provided, the price may be adjusted on site.
The first clean may be charged at a higher rate due to additional time required.
Prices may be reviewed periodically. Reasonable notice will be given before any change.

Access
Safe and unrestricted access must be available on the scheduled cleaning day.
Gates must be unlocked. Working areas must be clear of obstacles and dog fouling.
If access is not available, the visit will still be chargeable.
If rear access is not possible, only accessible windows will be cleaned and a minimum charge starting from £15 will apply.

Payment
Payment is due within 7 days of the cleaning date.
Accepted payment methods:
Debit or credit card
Google Pay
Apple Pay
Direct Debit via GoCardless
Bank transfer
Direct Debit is the preferred method for regular customers.
Failure to pay may result in suspension of services until the outstanding balance is cleared.

Late Payment
If payment is not received within 7 days, a reminder will be issued.
A further reminder will be sent after 14 days.
If payment remains outstanding after 35 days, the account will be closed and the customer removed from the regular round.
Any outstanding balance remains payable.
Statutory interest may be applied to overdue amounts in accordance with UK law.

Cancellations
Regular service may be cancelled after completion of the minimum three cleans.
Notice must be given before the next scheduled visit.
If cancellation is requested after a visit has been scheduled and access is available, the visit may still be chargeable.

Complaints and Re-Clean Policy
Any concerns must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.
After this period, the work will be considered accepted.
Where a valid issue is confirmed, a re-clean will be offered. Refunds are issued at the discretion of Mark Window Cleaner.

Damage Policy
Any alleged damage must be reported within 24 hours of the service, supported by clear photographs.
No liability is accepted for pre-existing damage, loose fittings, perished seals, oxidised frames, or poorly maintained surfaces.
All valid claims are handled through the business insurance policy where applicable.

Liability
Mark Window Cleaner will take reasonable care while providing services.
Liability is limited to the value of the service provided.
No liability is accepted for indirect or consequential losses.

Weather and Delays
If severe weather prevents safe operation, the service will be rescheduled at the next available opportunity.

Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law.
Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Acceptance
By booking a start date, requesting a quotation, or continuing with scheduled services, the customer confirms acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
